No. 6/10 of Hon. Geoffrey Wandeto’s 10-point agenda involves supporting SMEs/Traders. As such, Hon. Geoffrey Wandeto organized an MSME empowerment conference at Wamagana Stadium on 19th May 2023 to impart knowledge to SMEs and traders on business registration, trade facilitation, tender procurement, book keeping & outsourcing, marketing, market linkages & access, financial management & literacy, access to funding, industrial property rights, and business start-up drivers, challenges & opportunities. The Tetu Tuinuane SACCO was also launched. CS, SMEs & Co-operatives, Hon. Simon Chelugui was the guest of honour.
