Tetu Constituency

Hon. Geoffrey Wandeto has always been passionate about education. In the 1960s and 70’s, Tetu constituency was an education giant that produced one of the most renowned and exemplary figures of our nation. However, in the recent years, the education standards & performance have been on a free fall. As a result, Hon. Geoffrey Wandeto in 2017 initiated a motivation program to try and uplift the education performance. The program started with a few schools but has now grown to include all the primary and secondary schools. The program is now successful and has started to bear fruits. This program is an annual event and is dubbed as the “Tetu Rising Annual Prize Giving”. This year on 20th & 21st of January, Hon. Geoffrey Wandeto continued this culture and awarded 350, 2022 KCPE students who had scored 300 marks and above with backpacks, a portion of school fees and certificates.
