Hon. Geoffrey Wandeto in July this year brought education managers & stakeholders in a conference to discuss and brainstorm on ideas on how to improve education outcomes, performance and standards in Tetu constituency. In this conference, the idea of the school feeding program was proposed. The Dagoretti South MP, Hon. John Kiarie (KJ) shared the Dagoretti South school feeding program experience and urged the education managers to adopt it. Hon. Geoffrey Wandeto also proposed the Kagumo Masomo Bora initiative that proposes that secondary school students pay Kshs. 1,000 per term. The education managers conference was held at Kagumo college on the 6th and 7th of July this year.
